Oh dark night.

Oh dark night, embrace me with your shadows so that I may drown in darkness. Bring me sleep, a sleep so profound and so deep yet I am fooled by its simplicity. Take me over, make me drunk in your scent, its swirly sweetness lulling me. Let me hear the nothingness which only night contains, the stillness of all. Be still my quivering soul, shudder no more.
